finalement aucun jeux en ma possession ne permet de faire fonctionner super street fighter 2 US, mais j'ai remarqué que le blocage de super street US n'est pas si aléatoire que cela
sur la 20aine de jeu FR que j'ai mis dans le slot 2, j'ai pu remarqué qu'avec certains jeux, le blocage se faisait en 3 à 4 min, alors qu'avec d'autres, le blocage arrivait plutot dans les 15min.
les jeux qui bloquent au bout de 4min sont souvent des "hits", comme DK, super mario, zelda... alors que dans la pile de jeux "15 min", on retrouve fifa96, tiny toons, UN squadron, etc...

ben la console fait déja le détecteur la puce qui contrôle , pour le moment j'ai plus l'occasion de me remettre a la super famicom je suis passé a la famicom , je vous tien au courant dés que j'aurais du nouveau

bonjour, this is my first post here, I don't speak french at all but I humbly ask you to cope with it since I have a problem with my universal adaptor ad29 upgrade version. I searched the web but this is the only forum that talks about its compatibility issues. I have a problem with it, a very strange one.
I bought Garou Densetsu Special on ebay for my pal snes. the sns is NOT modded so the video output is set on 50hz.
To run foreign games I use Universal Adaptor AD29 Upgrade Version. I run games like area 88, super r-type, thunder spirits, akumajo dracula or assault suits valken flawlessly.
When Garou arrived I used the adaptor with a random pal game (I used alladin, but later I tried many more, from SF2 to Killer Instinct) and it worked very well. I swear I played it, man I can recall playing as Tung, Geese, Laurence and noticing the differences between the port and the coin op.

allright, then I played a bunch of other games on the adaptor such as Magic Sword and Area 88, went to bed and the day after, EACH AND EVERY TIME I RUN GAROU the super nes pops the white phrase "This game is not developed for your Super NES/Super Famicom system. takara".
Now I can understand that the game can be region locked being one of the latest on the system but WHY did it work just for a day? It's impossible...
another game that doesn't work is Dragon Ball Z butooden 3: when I boot the console a similar message is displayed, red on black.
I cleaned both adaptor and garou, the connectors are sparklingly clean, still every other japanes game works apart from these two. BUT I played Garou Special...
thank you in advance if you have a answer that doesn't involve ancient curses or alien worshipping terry bogard.

Hi,
I think you should use garou with the SAME game you used to make it work the 1st time.
Some games doesn't work with any game on the 2nd slot.

You can notice (if you understand french sorry :p) some japanese games can work few only specials EU games... lemme check.

second: again, sorry for not speaking french, I'm italian (yeah, sorry for that too, I'm already ashamed enough myself...)
I tried with the game I used (Alladin), as soon as I go back home I'll give a try with a few mere: so far I had no luck with Killer Instinct, SF2, Mario World and ISS Deluxe and let you know the results.

yeah it seems so, but it worked the first day so we're in the X-Files realm so far :D
Allrighty, I found a american snes in italy at a fair price (40 euros complete with original package), I could give it a try, it should boot sfamicom games flawlessly after removing the two plastic clips near the connector.

yeah that is so strange...
let us know if its working for American Super Nintendo. if not, am sure you can find a japanese one easy :)
